Race Recap
The site of last weekend's ISOC Championship Brainerd Round was the nationally renowned Brainerd International Raceway, a 1/4 –mile drag strip with NHRA style bleachers towering 80 feet over the track. The crowds seen over the weekend were the largest ever for a snocross event there.

Ski-Doo/ BOSS Rider #167 Paul Bauerly was amped to ride the larger BIR track, and proved it with his 2nd place semi-pro open heat finish. During the Semi-Pro Open final, Paul climbed from 11th to 4th position threatening to podium when he entered the backside minefield which had been chewing riders up and spitting them out 15 feet into the air all weekend long; Paul was thrown from the sled, suffered a mechanical failure and took an 11th place finish as a result.

Pro Super Stock racing was a highly physical and heated event with intense split-second passes. Both BOSS Pros ended up in the LCQ after their heat races due to Dave Allard finishing 6th and Robbie 7th. Robbie took the last transfer spot for the main by finishing 5th in the LCQ. Allard's 6th place finish ended his chances for the final. In the final, Robbie got pinched out at the start, moving him to a 13th place spot by the first corner. He quickly applied the pressure negotiating other riders and climbed back to finish in 7th overall in Pro Stock.

Pro Open heat qualifying saw Robbie advance to the front row of the main event. Allard also qualified for the main but missed the front row by one spot; so began from the back row. Robbie entered the first corner in 8th, coming out of the pile-up in 4th place, where he remained until the 11th lap, when two riders passed him leaving him to finish 6th overall. Dave Allard finished the Pro Open in 10th.
